For builders that are new to the concept of factory built components, it is important that you understand what will come from our factory when you order a panelized housing kit from us. Just as important is that you also understand what work will then be done on site, after you get the home to lock-up stage.
The first thing to be aware of is that almost 100% of the homes we build are custom homes. The panelized kits we show on our website are there simply to give you an idea on pricing, and to show you some of the different styles and designs. If your client already has their plans in place, great, we can work with those. On the other hand, if you need us to design the plans for your client, we can do that as well. We have a full design center in-house, with all the latest software and technology.
Now, when getting down to what is actually included in the panelized kit that we deliver to your building site, it includes the entire structure of the house, excluding the foundation. This includes: the floor structure, sub-floor, exterior walls, interior partitions, headers, roof structure, stairs, windows, siding, roofing, insulation, and more. For a full listing on what is included in a package, fill out the contact form
here.
Once the panelized kit is delivered, you will simply erect the home on the foundation that has been prepared to match the plans. You then finish the home by adding plumbing, heating, air conditioning, cabinets, flooring, lighting, painting, and whatever else is needed.
Working with panelized, factory built housing kits has been shown to save 20% or more in total labor and materials cost. Panelization does not restrict your flexibility, and improves quality.
